We just received in the newest addition to
the Sledgehammer. Now you can enjoy that same great Sledgehammer with
front suspension. Approx 4" of travel with some damping on the
shock. (non adjustable) and only adds approx. 2.3 lbs when installed. The new front
fork is also directly upgradeable on the previous models with the
solid forks. Very nice addition to an already great bike!

We demoed this bike for the first time in
the 06/07 season. The price point of this bike into the sport was
incredible. It is the lowest complete skibike
currently on the market!
We were pleasantly surprised when the
bike showed up and saw it in the sun! Very bright and vibrant metallic
orange. Looks great on the hill. We ran this bike through all of our
normal trials; Steep and deep, ripped it on the flats, small jumps and
and lastly intermediate moguls. The bike handled flawlessly. The only
problem we had was we often over powered the bike as we are use to heavy
converted downhill bikes. The bikes responds incredibly with very little
input from the rider and the boards that come with it stick to the run
like its on a rail. It weighs in at only 19 lbs. (21 lbs for full
suspension)
The bike is designed to be ridden with
out footskis. (Pegs are not removable) We tested the bike with and
without footskis. The bike is at home using both methods and is
perfectly acceptable for everyone that has ever thought about
skibiking.
After our 1 day test ride, we ordered
a complete shipment of Sledgehammers. We liked it that much. The bike is
an incredible value and is built well enough to grow with your abilities
for several seasons to come. With the addition of the front suspension,
light jumping is easily capably.
We suggest any rider between about
5'-6'3" and up to 250 lbs.
